Aubrey Hampton, the founder of Aubrey Organics, Inc., first
introduced jojoba oil into the personal care industry in 1972.
Since then, it has become a staple ingredient used as a moisturizer
in skin care and hair care products around the world. The jojoba
plant, known for its hydrating and nutrient-rich seed oil, grows
in the desert climates of North and Central America. The jojoba
seeds are grown only by the female plant, while the male plant
produces the bright yellow flowers necessary for pollination.
Once the seeds on the female plant reach maturity, they
contain an abundance of jojoba oil, which can then be
easily harvested. The oil has a unique, waxy feel that
closely mimics our skin's natural moisture.
Aubrey Organics, Inc., has a long history of "firsts" (for
a full list, download our free INCI Dictionary of Natural
Ingredients and check out page 3), and we are proud to
have introduced jojoba oil into the industry. Organic jojoba
oil can be found in many of our hair and skin products,
some of which are listed above for your convenience. For
those who want to try jojoba oil in its purest form without
any added ingredients, we also offer our 100% Organic
Jojoba Oil- which contains just that, and nothing else.
